Moments of Solitude: A Xingqiu Zine is a character centric fanzine (fan magazine) focused on Xingqiu from Genshin Impact.This fanzine is made to show our love, appreciation, and adoration to our beloved Guhua Guru, mysterious writer of best selling novel Legend of Sword, and second son of the Feiyun Commerce Guild Manager.The fanzine will contain roughly 110 pages featuring works from artists and writers. Those works will include 29 page artist pieces, and 7 writer fics; including the front cover and back cover (subject to change).Contributor applications will open on September 20th and close on October 20th

Moments of Solitude is a charity zine. We have yet to decide which organization we will be donating to, so feel free to suggest some!✦ What is the rating of this zine? ✦
This zine is PG-13.✦ How old do you have to be to participate? ✦
The minimum age for applicants is 16 years old.✦ Will content that applicants create outside of the zine affect their acceptance? ✦
So long as your conduct is respectful, we do not care what ships, characters, etc you enjoy or have created for.
Transphobia, homophobia, sexism, racism, ableism, etc will not be tolerated.✦ Is traditional art allowed? ✦
Yes! As long you provide a high quality scan of your work and follow the template provided.✦ Can I apply for multiple roles? ✦
Yes! But you may not be accepted to all of them. We will limit the number of roles you get accepted into 2 as to not make you feel overwhelmed.✦ How many contributors are you looking for? ✦
We are looking for 25 artists, 5 writers, and 5 merch artists.✦ Will the zine be physical or digital? ✦
This will be a physical zine!✦ What will the compensation for the contributors to the zine be? ✦
Our goal is to provide all contributors with a full bundle of the zine if profits allow
If not, we will prioritize the break even for: Zine + Shipping, Zine + Shipping + Flat Merch, then full bundle.✦ Are ships or other characters allowed (Xingqiu and friends, or headcanon family members)? ✦
Other characters will be allowed in your piece as long as they don't steal the spotlight. As this zine focuses on Xingqiu, we would rather not include any explicit ships.
Featuring characters that don't have a canonical design (eg. Xingqiu's family members) in art piece will not be allowed. On the contrary, featuring them in fics are allowed as it does not show any non-canonical designs.✦ Are AUs allowed? ✦
Yes, they are allowed!✦ Is there any theme to follow? ✦
There's no theme to follow. Feel free to get creative!✦ Do I need to have a sample or work that contains Xingqiu? ✦
You should at least have 1 Genshin Impact centric work on your portfolio. Having a Xingqiu sample is not mandatory but it helps with judging writers on their characterization and world building and judging artists based on their art style, composition, anatomy, and harmony.
